The WhatsApp Business Platform provides API-based business messaging. HeidelAI gives teams an application for working with those conversations, connecting them to AI replies, contacts, quotations and follow-ups.
What the API changes
The API is a messaging interface, not a complete salesperson's workspace. A business still needs a way for staff to read and answer conversations, maintain customer context and handle exceptions. HeidelAI supplies that working layer alongside its automation tools.
Onboarding and prerequisites
Prepare the business information and the WhatsApp number you intend to use. Confirm number ownership and any existing WhatsApp configuration before beginning. Account eligibility, verification, number migration and coexistence depend on the supported onboarding flow and Meta's rules. Do not assume that every existing App account can be moved without preparation.
Inbound replies and outbound templates
A customer enquiry and an outbound marketing campaign are different messaging situations. The customer-service window, template category, approval status and customer permissions affect what you can send. Review the official documentation for the current rules and test your intended workflow before sending to a customer list.
Understand the bill
Evaluate the platform subscription, seats, AI usage, automation capacity and applicable WhatsApp messaging charges separately. The pricing page lists HeidelAI's published plans; it is not a substitute for Meta's current rate card or the terms of your messaging setup.
Choose a realistic first workflow
Start with one incoming enquiry, clarify the buying requirement and hand it to a person. Add catalogue recommendations, quotations or follow-ups once the initial route is working. Book a demo with the business systems you actually use so the integration requirements can be checked.
