A no-code WhatsApp chatbot guides customers through a defined conversation. HeidelAI's workflow editor lets teams structure that conversation and connect it to customer context, AI assistance and human ownership.
Design the conversation around a customer task
For a product enquiry, begin with the category, then ask for the model or requirement, quantity and purchase timing. Give customers an obvious way to ask a different question. A flow that only accepts the happy-path answer can trap a buyer before a salesperson sees the conversation.
Structured flows are useful when a task has predictable steps. AI responses are useful when the wording and context vary. The two can work together, provided the team can see the collected information and intervene.
A first flow to demonstrate
- Customer asks about an item.
- Bot requests missing product or quantity information.
- Relevant catalogue context supports the response.
- An unresolved request moves to a salesperson.
- The salesperson receives the original conversation rather than an empty lead.
Test before enabling
Try misspelled product names, a changed requirement, an attachment and a direct request for a human. Check what the flow stores and what the salesperson can see. Keep a small set of test conversations so a flow edit can be checked against previous behavior.
Limits to agree on
Decide which questions the bot may answer and which need a person. Product availability, discounts and payment terms need reliable business inputs. A chatbot should ask for clarification when those inputs are missing, rather than fill in an answer.
