Tally is an accounting system; a WhatsApp conversation is a sales interaction. HeidelAI connects these workflows through a Tally connector and invoice-draft tools so the team can work from customer and item context without treating a chat message as an accounting approval.
Prepare the connection
Confirm the Tally installation, company and supported connector configuration. An authorized administrator creates the connector key and configures the connection. Keep credentials in the connector configuration rather than sending them in a customer conversation.
The invoice-draft workflow
A salesperson starts an invoice draft from the relevant conversation. Refresh connected Tally context before selecting the customer and items. Review quantities, amounts and taxes. Confirm the intended company and customer before approving any write or posting step.
Test with a controlled example
Use a fictional customer and a small test catalogue. Prepare one invoice draft and compare the item identity, quantity and totals with the source. Check a disconnected connector and stale data as well as the successful path. A generated draft is not proof that a voucher was posted.
What to confirm in your demo
Agree on supported Tally versions, connectivity, company scope and the exact data read or written. Keep accounting decisions with the authorized team. The integration should support your existing process rather than silently create a second financial source of truth.
